Free plan: 2 codes vs 3, and the analytics cap
Both free plans are ad-free, but linqr gives one more code and doesn't cap its analytics. Flowcode's pricing page lists Free as “Up to 2 Flowcodes”, “Analytics for up to 500 scans” and “Ad free”. Flowcode's help center confirms that its codes are dynamic on all plans, and Flowcode states that even Basic-plan codes have unlimited scans. The 500 figure limits the analytics you see, not the scans themselves.
linqr's Free plan gives you 3 active dynamic codes with no end date and no card. Scans and link changes are unlimited, and the stats keep counting every scan: total and unique scans, a 30-day chart, top 3 countries and devices, leaving out bots and link previews.
One thing they share: Flowcode's free generator asks you to create an account before you download, and so does linqr. Neither offers anonymous downloads of a dynamic code.
What happens when you downgrade or stop paying
Flowcode's help center says codes over its free limit keep scanning but stop being editable. These details come from help-center articles that are older than its current pricing page, so read them with that in mind.
- A help article dated December 4, 2023, on cancelling, says that after a downgrade to the Basic tier you keep access only to your 2 most recent codes, while all other codes continue to scan and send people to the destination you set.
- An article on whether codes expire says that if a contract isn't renewed or a payment fails, you can no longer access code details or update backend details such as the scan destination.
- The End of Trials FAQs say extra codes are archived but continue to scan to the destination you specified.
These articles, from 2023 and 2024, mention analytics caps that don't match the current pricing page, so the downgrade details may have changed since. We couldn't find a newer official statement on September 25, 2026.

Prices after a year
Flowcode's paid plans start higher than linqr Pro and grow into enterprise pricing. These are the figures from Flowcode's pricing page on September 25, 2026; it advertises “Billed Annually (Save 58%)”.

Design, files and landing pages
Both tools offer logos, colors and frames with a call to action; Flowcode also builds landing pages, and linqr also offers EPS files on Pro. Flowcode's free generator has colors, shapes, “Add a frame” and “Upload your logo” (under 5 MB). Its help center lists JPG, PNG, SVG and PDF downloads at 300 dpi.
linqr's Free plan includes your own logo or a quick icon, colors, module and corner shapes, and frames with label text, with PNG, JPG, WEBP and SVG files up to 2048 px. Pro adds PDF and EPS with a print size in centimeters. A real decoder reads the preview and shows Scans correctly before you download.
linqr doesn't build landing pages or host files: the code opens a page you already have, like your website, a menu PDF or a review form. If you want the QR tool to build the page too, Flowcode covers that.

How to switch from Flowcode to linqr
A printed Flowcode points to Flowcode's link, so it can't be moved to linqr. Since Flowcode says codes keep scanning after a downgrade, you can switch at your own pace: make new linqr codes and replace the old ones at the next print run.

In Flowcode, open the codes you still use and copy the destination URLs. If a code opens a Flowcode landing page, decide where that content will live first.

Save and download
Save to a free account (Google, or email and password) and download SVG for print.
Test and reprint
